The New School is for people to discover their gifts, create work they love, make their contribution to the world, and live their most inspired life.

What about it is new?

We are living in an exciting time! A time in which we are changing the way we perceive business and education. Fundamental to this change is the perspective with which we approach them. Until now, we have been viewing business primarily as a function for making money. As we are witnessing with our changing economy, this perspective is no longer serving us. We must move forward with a more holistic view of business and our lives. What is needed now is for us to bring all of ourselves – our unique gifts, talents, and skills – to the working world and in doing so, we will innovate and create new jobs, careers and businesses.

Our current education system came into being because of the industrial revolution. The system was designed to make people employable and prepare them to fit into predetermined roles. Instead we need to believe that what is valuable is our unique selves and to learn to bring our unique gifts to the fields in which we work.

The New School for Inspired Work wants to expand the fundamental principles of education and business: to transform both into vision-centred experiences.
